The salmon growers of Tasmania are represented by the Tasmanian Salmonid Growers' Association Ltd (TSGA), the peak body representing salmon growers throughout Australia's beautiful island state.
We launched this promotional campaign to remind Australians that our local Tasmanian Atlantic Salmon ranks among the best salmon in the world. It’s one of Australia’s most delicious, visually appealing and versatile fish varieties, which makes an excellent ingredient for many types of cuisine.
As well as being delicious, Tassie salmon is good for you. It’s low in calories and cholesterol, high in protein, and is a rich source of omega-3 essential fatty acids, which are vital for healthy hearts and minds.
It also comes from one of the purest and most pristine environments on the planet.
